Warnings: Daqiang will be asking about people's curses, but also requesting some help in killing his emotions tree so Orchid doesn't realize it's him asking. also, Daqiang doing his level best not to use 'this venerable one' and give himself away.

Curse Research.

More than a few of the riftfarers have arrived in this world with a curse from their own affecting them. If you are one of them, it is requested that you respond with the effects of the curse and how 'detrimental' it is to your daily routine. Your name for further questions and research is also requested. Reply with a 'private filter' if desired.

Aid in Removing the Effects of a Curse

Those among you whom are skilled at destruction are asked to respond to this privately to determine if your skills and power is likely to be effective in destroying a specific manifestation of a curse that effects a riftfarer and was brought with them into this world.

[That sounded similar to what Cid had told him of how the power of the Eikon's worked for those that were their vessels. Though Daqiang did not think it was so much a curse-like effect on the part of Cid and more to do with improperly channeling his qi, the similarities should it be an actual curse would be worth comparing.]

You are not the first to report a curse that functions in such a manner. Would you be willing to answer further questions in a private location for observations and minor experiments to test the curse? A similar binding spell as the one your friend and mentor created may also be possible.

Yes, that would be ideal. I've said about as much as I'm willing to in public.

[Miriam might be mostly tech illiterate but she knows enough to assume anyone could see what she was writing on these things.]

This experiment is being conducted by members of crew of the Phantom Moon. If you are unfamiliar with us, our priorities are research into the magical phenomenons of this world. We are currently docked in Fang, Nogard's main port and will remain so for the next week or so. If you are unable to come to Fang, name a meeting point and someone will be sent to bring you back to the ship using a Ring of Returning.

For the moment, it is requested you do not speak of who is conducting these experiments. The current research and attempt at isolating and removing even part of an other-worldly curse is in the earliest stages and we do not wish to imply promises that cannot be kept.

[Nogard, huh? Miriam didn't bear any particular ill will to Corsairs as a whole, and to her knowledge hadn't personally angered any major groups. And she wasn't wearing any Paladin insignia since the gallows incidents. But she hadn't set foot there herself in some time.]

You may contact the user 'yuezun' to request help or inform the crew of your arrival in Fang. The captain will have to approve of your coming aboard the ship.
