Curse Research.

More than a few of the riftfarers have arrived in this world with a curse from their own affecting them. If you are one of them, it is requested that you respond with the effects of the curse and how 'detrimental' it is to your daily routine. Your name for further questions and research is also requested. Reply with a 'private filter' if desired.

Aid in Removing the Effects of a Curse

Those among you whom are skilled at destruction are asked to respond to this privately to determine if your skills and power is likely to be effective in destroying a specific manifestation of a curse that effects a riftfarer and was brought with them into this world.

What does profesh mean?

No curses have been expelled. But if they are able to be transferred to another object, the intent is to see if they can be safely destroyed in that manner.

However it works in your world cannot be assumed to be the only way it works in this one. Some curses cannot be 'exorcised'. Some cannot be transferred. Some can only be ended by the death of the caster.

The effect of the curse currently being tested... Destruction is the only known method to end it at this time.

You used the term exorcism. Which usually means to expel that which has possessed something else. It does not usually include destruction through the use of another curse.

Is this the normal way of 'excorsism' in your world?

exorcism wouldn't be worth shit if you don't destroy the spirit before it can cause more messes

Not all curses are caused by spirits. The curse in question is not caused by a spirit possessing something. How does your exorcism work in the face of that?

The curse effect has been moved to an object, yes. When you say 'destroy it with cursed energy' are you saying you curse it again and use the conflict between the curses to destroy it?
