i kinda need some advice too and it aint really about dating

I see. That certainly does sound complicated. It at least sounds like you had good intentions. But honest and open communication is important for any relationship, especially when it's someone as important to you as a romantic partner.

Tampering with memories is easy for this place. People can come and go and forget and remember as if some unknown deity is simply flipping a switch. You shouldn't be hard on yourself for something that is wildly out of your control. That said, I believe that if your girlfriend was willing to forgive your memory loss and wait to see if it would come back, then she deserved your honesty when it did. It's understandable that she'd be angry with you for keeping it from her.

I assume that you still want to be with her, right? Since you're asking about how best to make up for what happened, and all.

Then I believe committing to maintaining open, honest communication about everything will be crucial to fully regaining your girlfriend's trust. Even when it feels like the truth is inconvenient or could be painful. It sounds like a given, I know, but it could still be a long process and it's important not to get frustrated or downhearted when it feels like it's not getting you anywhere.

As a giver of second chances myself, you certainly shouldn't. And definitely don't take that forgiveness for granted.

I know how easy it is to think you're protecting someone by trying to keep them away from some aspect or another of your life. But if you really care about each other, your partner will want to be part of everything that has to do with you. And maybe they'll even help you through some of it. Try to keep that in mind, yeah? :3
